For many women, the chance for education and growth comes to an abrupt end in their late teens, when they become wives, usually through marriages arranged by parents.  Our Community Centers offer a place where these young women can come to learn marketable skills, enabling them to gain a sense of empowerment and the ability to earn their own money.  These Centers offer women courses in tailoring, free of charge,  and access to sewing machines … giving them the chance both to sew for their families and to make beautiful garments to sell. Not only that: the centers become a place for women to share with one another, offer each other advice, and grow in sisterhood and strength,
